DescriptionModel 911 is a PCI/104-Express board that simultaneously captures four channels of analog video and four channels of stereo audio. It captures raw video frames from each channel at up to full frame rate, resulting in an aggregate frame capture rate of up to 120 fps for NTSC and 100 fps for PAL. The 911's high frame capture rate, coupled with its high performance bus interface, makes it well-suited for applications that require uncompromising capturing of multiple video sources in a compact form factor. A 24-pin header provides convenient access to all I/O signals on the board. This enables all of the board's I/O signals to be routed through a single cable to a custom termination system or to one of Sensoray's standard breakout boards (see Accessories). The board's PCI/104-Express connectors support both stack-up and stack-down so that the board can be located anywhere in the stack, and its full conformance to the PCI/104-Express specification guarantees that it won't mechanically interfere with adjacent boards. All operating power is obtained from the PCI/104-Express bus; no external power supply is needed. VideoEach of the four video inputs may be connected to a composite or S-video source, or left unconnected if not used. The unit supports a wide range of video capture resolutions, including D1, VGA, QVGA, QQVGA, SIF, 2SIF, 4SIF, CIF, QCIF, SQCIF, and 4CIF. Captured frames are formatted as raw RGB or YUV. Digital I/OsFour general-purpose digital I/O (DIO) signals are provided for controlling cameras and illumination sources, alarm signal monitoring, etc. The DIOs may be configured to function as all outputs or all inputs. SoftwareSoftware Development Kits (SDKs) are available for both Linux and Windows developers. The SDKs include drivers, programming examples, and comprehensive documentation to enable programmers to quickly develop custom application software for the 911. SBC Compatibility
AccessoriesSensoray offers several breakout boards that route the 911's video, audio and digital I/O signals to standard connectors. All of the breakout boards are designed to directly connect to the 911's 24-pin I/O header with a single cable. Model 811TA-SVIDEO breaks out all of the 911's video inputs and digital I/O signals. It has four S-Video input connectors and a spring terminal block for digital I/Os. 811TA-SVIDEO (4x S-Video in, 4 digital I/O) Model 911TA combines a 911TC and 911TB to provide connectors for four audio inputs and four composite video inputs. The two-board combination is securely held together with standoffs. 911TC (4x audio in, 4x composite video in) Model 911TC breaks out the four audio inputs onto 3.5mm TRS stereo jacks. 911TC (4x audio in) and 911TB (4x composite video in) The Model 911TAC1 cable connects a Model 911 board to any of the above breakout boards. One of its three 24-pin connectors plugs into the 911 board, while one or both of the other connectors can be plugged into breakout boards. 911TAC1 Cable Specifications
